Blacktab Publishing Logo

Back in 1985, a little 11 year old began buying comic books and trading them with friends. Each of us put a little tab at the bottom right of our comic bags to make sure we knew who really owned what comic. Mine was black.

In 1987, 13 year old me, decided to she'd try and make a comic company. The company was named "Blacktab" and while there was no logo, the "publishers" name, date, number and prince were in little boxes below the name of the company. OF course, being 13, I had no idea what I was doing, nor anyway to get it to happen. Didn't stop me from putting it on everything and anything.

As the years moved on, the name for the "publishing" studio I imagined I would have one day went from Blacktab Comics to Blacktab Publishing to Blacktab Studios. The compartments on those old old old comic covers I drew (Such as this one: [link] ) morphed into the logo you see here.

It's simple, nothing fancy, but it's mine. And who knows, maybe one day it'll actually get published on something.

It should have been on the bottom right "Sections" of the CDs in the gallery, but for some reason, the versions I have don't have the logo on there.
